    Description

    Antique Haskins Tip Top Pen.  The pen is a mother of pearl writing dip ink pen with marked Solid Gold nib and comes in box. The nice iridescent mother of pearl stem has a carved nubby design, while the gold tone nib holder has a checkered design.
    Measurements:  Pen is approximately 5-3/4 inches long, including nib.
    Condition:  Both the stem and pen nib are in very good condition.  NO issues to MOP stem but the tines of the nib are, as pictured, slightly separated.  Box shows age wear, has partial fastening hinges so would need to be banded shut.  Binding tape has been applied to hold one side of box together where tissue thin paper hinge has separated.
    Marks:  The gold nib is impressed Solid Gold.
