Very good &
collectable Condition
- Good looking, very collectible - little to no wear, cap is dent free & very bright perfect gold finish on the cap & trim - bright Red plastic barrel has a good shine
My guess is this is a 1950s or 60s - it is a very early cartridge fill pen - I do NOT know if modern Platinum ink cartridges will work - the clear plastic fill tube looks new & clean - in fact the whole pen looks very clean
The only exception it that the nib has age showing, some tarnish, light corrosion on the edges, the nib looks to be gold plated (Not solid gold) and it is marked "10 YEARS" - very fine point
the cap top has the old style Platinum "Globe" logo
there is a blue enameled fish on the clip with "IXOUS"  (the fish has an eye & mouth detail)
it is 5 & 3/4
" posted and 5 & 1/16" capped
